Action definitions #

In this page you will be able to create and manage actions that can be sent to the robots.

There are several default system action definitions, but you can create your own action definitions.

Create an action #

To create an action, click on the + Action definition button. A popup will appear.

  • Action definition name: the name of the action definition.
  • Description: a description of the action definition.
  • Device: select if the action definition is for a robot or a IoT device.
  • Variable type: the type of the variable that will sent when the action is executed. More than one variable can be added.
  • Variable name: the name of the variable that will be used when the action is executed.

You can specify the values of the variables when including them in a mission or action preset.

Once you are done, click on the Save button to create the action definition. The action definition will be added to the list of action definitions.

Edit an action definition #

Warning Default system action definitions cannot be edited.

To edit an action definition, click on the Edit button of the action definition you want to edit. A popup similar to the one used to create an action definition will appear. Edit the action definition as you wish, and click on the Save button to save your changes.

Delete an action definition #

Warning Default system action definitions cannot be deleted.

To delete an action definition, click on the Delete button of the action definition you want to delete. A popup will appear asking you to confirm the deletion. Click on the Delete button to confirm the deletion, or on the Cancel button to cancel the deletion.
